Veterans Legal Services is pleased to announce that Aneisha Worrell, Esq., a benefits consultant attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston, was recently elected to its board of directors.
At Ropes & Gray, Worrell specializes in employee benefits programming and legal requirements. She formerly served as an associate counsel fellow at State Street Corp., where she provided support to the healthcare and benefits team.
“I am honored to have this opportunity and I look forward to working with the wonderful members of the VLS Board and its staff,” said Worrell. “The individuals who serve and have served this country have made an enormous sacrifice that can at times be overlooked. VLS provides essential services that are crucial in helping our veterans navigate what can at times be a complex legal system. I look forward to joining this esteemed organization as we work for the betterment of our veterans.”
A resident of Brockton, Mass., Worrell earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and a B.S. in criminal justice from Northeastern University.
